“RETURN to NORMALCY” *
MEMBER: |
HERE’S HOW WE GEARED UP to START FULL-THROTTLE AFTER THIS PANDEMIC!!!
We, like you, have been largely paralyzed by this horrific virus and so many Governor’s orders to keep “social distancing”, a term unimaginable just last year. No one alive will ever forget the word “Coronavirus” but our First Responders, scientists, doctors, nurses and so many more have brought this damnable protein to heel such that a cautious return to normal is at hand. But how do we do it? Here’s some thoughts, then some metal news.
One hundred years ago as WWI just ended, a little-known Ohio governor, Warren Gamaliel Harding, was put up as a candidate for President of the United States. His campaign slogan was “Return to Normalcy”. He put it this way:
America's present need is not heroics, but healing; not nostrums (sayings), but normalcy; not revolution, but restoration; not agitation, but adjustment; ……………sustainment in triumph (over an evil).
In 1920, we were coming home from a hot, murderous war in Europe (WWI); today we are trying to start up our economy after an invisible virus encounter that killed tens of thousands of Americans -----the Coronavirus (COVID19). In 1917 all our industries had been impacted and adjusted to wartime production. Afterwards we had to re-employ the soldiers that survived and again make all the products America needed for “normal” everyday life.
Sounds not unlike today. Now Metfab Metals, LLC is getting back to full-time “normal” operations, made easier by years of investing in technology that allowed us to operate remotely over the past challenging months. While we were quarantined at home, we were more prepared for this than most. With many of the restrictions now lifted, we are smoothly “catching up”. We are SHOVEL-READY!
In the shutdown, we operated electronically & telephonically. Now we can fulfill your orders as before, some through outsources and others right out of here in Orange, NJ. Send us your final Plans & Specs & we’ll fill these PO’s with no delay---and get it to you when you need it. We have survived this national calamity and emergency and are 100% ready to do business with all of you.
Don’t hesitate to email me with questions and any issues you need answered, as always.
Metfab Metals works for all our customers, large & small and many medium-sized businesses, on projects of all scopes, like yours every day, creating decorative metal facades, entrances, mullions, varied super-structure anchors and storefront support steel (often standard features of retro-fit/retro-clad jobs in older areas of our cities), embeds and other miscellaneous parts/assemblies for contractors, subcontractors and many of the largest curtainwall companies in the world. And everything we make or sell is made right here in the USA---America.
