Metfab Metals has supplied many high-profile public projects over the last three decades, but none is more acutely felt by New York’s traveling public as LaGuardia’s aging airport. But its operator, The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ), is implementing massive changes.

We here at Metfab Metals are presently working with our customer [IDA International of Derby, CT] to supply the soffit framing for the lower and higher roofs depicted in the above rendering. These are the Headhouse Soffits required at the departure level of the new Delta Terminal in Flushing, NY just west of Manhattan. Most of these soffits will go into the trapezoid-shaped roof illustrated above; all will be Tremec prime-painted before delivery.
